The Belgian Presidency of the European Union goes ahead.
This is an opportunity to organise an exhibition looking at our European neighbours.

The exhibition Should I stay or should I go? takes us on a journey from city to city to discover inspiring and innovative projects.

When faced with crises and challenges, urban planners must adapt and rethink concepts and amend models. The strategies may be different, but the challenges are the same.
What are the best urban practices in Amsterdam, Brussels, Ghent, Geneva, Toulouse, Turin and Warsaw?

The exhibition looks at 3 key issues:

  • new ways of living and living in cities, incorporating quality density, several activity centres and urban flows;
  • combining the built environment with nature and the living world, or what spatial strategies are needed to make more sustainable use of land, to achieve a better balance between built-up areas and open spaces?
  • good governance of the city through innovative planning tools.

The exhibition will be open from 30 May.

The exhibition opening will take place on Thursday 13 June at 6pm (new date!)

This exhibition is part of a series consisting of a seminar organised on
29-30 May 2024 with 60 participants coming from across Europe and
a publication containing 19 case studies. This exhibition showcases 9
out of the 19 case studies from the publication.
